For those who prefers the embrace of nature Doi Inthanon, 2,565 metres above sea level - the highest mountain in Thailand is probably the most pleasant break from the city. With an hour drive from Chiangmai to the fertile jungle to invigorate yourself with fresh and cool mountain air. This tour takes you to see Karen hilltribe, the twin pagodas – built by royal Thai airforce to honor King Bhumipol and Queen Sirikit, arrive the summit then have a chance to do a short trek to experience the beauty and natural treasure of Doi Inthanon. Continue the trip to visit Wachiratharn waterfall and lunch will be served a picnic style then proceed with and unforgettable short walk through the forest to approach Mae Klang waterfall and return to the hotel. |
