Chiangrai tour Package 1
The wonder of the northernmost
city in Thailand (Chiangrai)
Day 1
A drive through the picturesque mountain area with a stop at the hot spring then proceed overland to Chiangrai and visit the magnificent temple of Wat Rong Khun, the white temple. Check in at the hotel and after lunch continue Mae Kok boat trip to Karen Ruam Mitr hilltribe village, well known as the village of elephant mahouts and embark on a 20 minute elephant ride through the countryside. Overnight at the hotel in Chiangrai.

Day 2
Leave the hotel for Yao and Akha hilltribe villages then drive on to the Golden Triangle area, where the borders of Thailand, Burma and Laos convene, and then on to visit the opium museum. Continue the trip to Maesai, the northernmost border between Thailand and Burma, with its bustling and lucrative cross border trade. Lunch is provided at local restaurant, then start the return trip to Chiangmai. ( or depart with the flight from Chiangrai to Bangkok.)

Chiangrai tour Package 2
The exotic route to Chiangrai

Day 1
Depart the hotel for the orchid farm and continue to Chiang Dao elephant training camp. Upon arrival there is a chance to walk around and watch the elephants taking their daily bath in the river before they begin to haul timber in the forest and see how trained elephants are used to help in logging. Proceed with 1 hour elephant ride through the natural surroundings. Set off through the mountain area to Tha Ton and lunch will be provided at local restaurant. Drive on to visit Padong

(long necked Karen hilltribe) and take a chance to see Akha and Lahu hilltribe then proceed to Chiangrai. Overnight at the hotel in Chiangrai.

Day 2
After breakfast in the hotel, drive up the hill to enjoy the panoramic view of the Golden Triangle area, where the borders of Thailand, Laos and Burma convene and a stop will be made at the small opium museum. Proceed with a boat trip on the famous Mae Khong river and stop at the check point on a small island of Laos and continue by boat to the ancient city of Chiangsaen to visit Wat Chedi Luang Temple. Drive on to city of Chiangrai to get the impression of the layout and atmosphere of this city and proceed to see the only white temple, Wat Rong Khun, then start the return trip to Chiangmai. (or depart with the flight from Chiangrai to Bangkok.)

Continue to the Golden Triangle area, where the borders of Thailand, Laos and Burma convene and a stop will be

made at the opium museum. Return to the hotel and overnight in Chiangrai.
Day 3
Early morning visit by boat to the Karen Ruam Mitr hilltribe village with a chance to walk around and experience their way of life. Continue by van and drive on to Chiangmai (or depart from Chiangrai to your next destination).
