Activities: Hot Spring, Wat Rong Khun, Mae Kok boat trip to Karen Ruam Mitr hill tribe Village,
Doi Tung , Akha hill tribe village, the Monkey temple, Golden Triangle, opium museum and Mae Sai.
Day 1
Depart from Chiang Mai drive through the picturesque mountain area with a stop at the hot spring.
Then proceed overland to Chiangrai and visit the magnificent temple of Wat Rong Khun, the white temple.
Check in at the hotel and after lunch continue Mae Kok boat trip to Karen Ruam Mitr hilltribe village,
well known as the village of elephant mahouts. Overnight at the hotel in Chiangrai.
Day 2
Leave the hotel for the Golden Triangle area, where the borders of Thailand, Burma and Laos convene,
and then on to visit the opium museum.
Continue the trip to Maesai, the northernmost border between Thailand and Burma,
with its bustling and lucrative cross border trade. Lunch is provided at local restaurant.
After lunch continue the trip to the Monkey temple.
Drive on to Doi Tung to visit the royal garden and the Akha hill tribe village.
