boat ride on Mae Ping river , Chiang Mai local handicrafts and orchid farm.
Day 1 : Arrive Chiangmai meet / assist by local English speaking guide and transfer to hotel for check in.
Drive through Chiangmai town to visit Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, the famous hilltop temple,
containing a holy relic of Buddha and is reached by 306 steps, flanked by mythical Nagas balustrade on either side.
The panoramic views of city from the temple ground are truly spectacular on a clear day.
Day 2 : Set off in the morning to visit an orchid farm then proceed to the forested area of Mae Ta Mann elephant camp.
Upon arrival take a chance to walk around and feed the elephants then proceed to see them enjoy their daily bath in the river
Continue to see these gentle creatures showing their talent and hauling timber during the show.
After that there is a chance to take 1 hour elephant ride through the jungle area and return to the camp on the ox-cart.
Lunch will be provided at the restaurant in the camp. Then proceed with bamboo rafting along scenic Mae Taman river.
On the way back to Chiangmai the last stop will be made at the long-necked Kayan village along with Lahu and Palong tribe.
Day 3 : Depart from the hotel and drive through the old city of Chiang Mai will give you the impression of the layoutand unique atmosphere of this northern city. Visit Wat Chedi Luang temple, which consist of an impressive pagoda,
originally built in 1401 and partially destroyed by an earthquake in 1545 and this temple also houses the city foundation pillar.
Proceed to Chiangmai China town and the fresh food market and experience the northern Thai way of life.
Continue with the local transportation to get to the boat pier at Wat Chaimongkol temple and take a relaxing boat trip
to enjoy the scenery along Mae Ping River and stop at the farmhouse to have some fruit and soft drinks.
Drive on to a well-known local restaurant to experience the local flavor of Chiangmai noodle (Khao Soi) and pork satae.
The last stop will be made at famous handicrafts area to see silverware making and Thai silk weaving.
Day 4 : Transfer to Chiangmai airport
