Day 1
Depart from your hotel in Chiang Mai for the orchid farm and continue to Chiang Dao elephant training camp.
Upon arrival there is a chance to walk around and watch the elephants taking their daily bath in the river
before they begin to haul timber in the forest and see how trained elephants are used to help in logging.
Proceed with 1 hour elephant ride through the natural surroundings.
Set off through the mountain area to Tha Ton and lunch will be provided at local restaurant.
Drive on to visit the long- necked Kayan hilltribe and take a chance to see Akha and Lahu hilltribe.
Then proceed to Chiangrai.Overnight at the hotel in Chiangrai.
Day 2
Drive uphill to visit Doi Tung, The site of a major environmental and socio - economic development project
initiated by her royal highness the princess mother of this current king with her teak villa.
Drive further north to Maesai the bustling border town and lunch is served at local restaurant.
Continue to the Golden Triangle area, where the borders of Thailand, Laos and Burma convene
and a stop will bemade at the opium museum. Return to the hotel and overnight in Chiangrai.
Day 3
Early morning boat trip to the Karen Ruam Mitr hilltribe village a chance to walk around and experience their way of life.
Continue the trip to one of the most beatiful temple in the north Thailand Wat Rong Khun, the white temple.
Lunch will be served at the local restaurant.
Then drive on to Chiangmai or depart from Chiangrai to your next destination.
