A drive through the old city of Chiangmai to experience the atmosphere and the northern way of life.
Visit Wat Chedi Laung temple, which has an impressive chedi, originally built in 1401
and partially destroyed by an earthquake in 1545.
This is followed by a walking tour along the street in the heart of Chiangmai to have the impression of this unique old city.
Continue to Wat Pantao temple and the shrine of Chiangmai king.
Then stop at Wat Phra Singh temple (A.D. 1345), housing the most important and sacred Buddha image of the north.
This temple contains supreme examples of northern Thai art includes the elegant gold tracery used for decoration
on the inner walls of the famous chapel.
Proceed to visit Chiangmai China Town and the local fresh food market
then return to the hotel by experiencing local transportation.
